Happy Saint Patrick's Day

The older my kids get the more I get excited about holidays. I love that Emma gets into them almost as much as I do. This morning we all got geared up in our green and I went to work in the kitchen. I made homemade sandwich buns and added green food coloring. I also made green jello (with fresh fruit), a green salad, and green kool-aid. Emma at first said she wouldn't eat anything green for dinner but she ended up loving it. The only thing she didn't like was Jeremy's homemade elk burgers (that's what the sandwich buns were for). For desert I made green pineapple upside-down cake. Sadly I only took a snapshot with my cell phone so it will have to do.

I'm working hard at accomplishing all the goals I have on my to do list! One of the goals was for all of us to have bikes. Jeremy finally found his! I don't have a picture yet but I'm sure I'll have some as soon as the weather warms up. After Jeremy got his bike we were off to find helmets for him and Emma (she got a bike for Christmas). Emma was so excited about her new helmet and Jeremy was so excited about his new bike that they went for a ride yesterday with the temperature being under 40 degrees. It was also windy and rainy but they didn't care. So, one more thing almost checked off my list!

Dara and Levi Engagements - Rexburg Wedding Photographer

We are so lucky to be able to do Dara and Levi's engagement pictures. We met them at the bridal fair on Saturday and did their engagements on Tuesday! We normally don't get pictures done this quick so these two are lucky. Something funny about these two - Levi tried to propose to Dara 3 different times! The first time he got dressed up and took a ring to propose in front of her class of 120 students, and she had been sick that day and stayed home! So there he was standing in front of her class all dressed up and she wasn't there. Hahaha too funny! We decided to post their slideshow this time. Enjoy.

Kris and Mikel's Wedding Day { Idaho Falls Rexburg Wedding Photographer }

Jeremy pretty much rocked this wedding. He shot probably 90% off these images. He never ceases to amaze me. :D Mikel and Kris certainly had a fun filled wedding day. We are so happy for them. We are glad that they let us be a part of there day in so many ways. It was a pleasure to photograph the wedding and to share in their joy. :) {Enjoy}

Even with morning sessions in Arizona it's burning hot. I'm not sure what is worse shooting in the dead of winter in Idaho or middle of summer in Arizona. Either way you find yourself going indoors to warm up or cool down throughout the session. Thanks Mikel and Kris for an awesome session! {enjoy}

Kyra and Larry Wedding Video { Idaho Wedding Photographer }

Jeremy was able to make an awesome wedding video for Kyra and Larry and we both loved it and wanted to share. When making it Jeremy got emotional... ok so not too emotional but he did keep mentioning to me how sweet it was that her Dad cried so many times throughout the day. He seems like such a fun Dad. You will have to watch for him in the video. He was great. The pictures of Kyra dancing with her son were also priceless. You will have to watch for those ones as well. Enjoy. :)

Lundyn and Uros Bridals { Idaho Falls Wedding Photographer }

This session was awesome. Jeremy and I really enjoyed these bridals. They were awesome in front of the camera especially since this was the first time we met Uros. The two of them had not seen each other for two months before the session and were getting married the day after so they were definitely happy. Enjoy.

Lindsay and Jordan's Bridal Session • Idaho Falls wedding photographer

These two are only weeks from their wedding and boy are they excited (and so are we)! Take a look at these pictures and I think you will agree. This is one of the easiest couples to work with as they are easy going and very photogenic! It's fun working with all of the fall colors. We never got this in Arizona!
