Brewer Family reunion

This is part of the reason that I have been gone for a few days. Saturday was our big Brewer reunion. It was also my grandma's birthday party. My grandma has 7 kids, LOTS of grandkids and some great grandkids.
Here is me on my way to the reunion. This was the only way to get a picture of me traveling. I might win a record with how long this post is. I had more pictures to post but I narrowed it down.

The reunion was at the Clay Springs park. I get to check off #45 from my to do list for going to Clay Springs to see my Grandma!!!

We couldn't get all the candles to light because the wind was blowing so bad. My grandma lucked out she didn't have to blow out all 75 candles!!!

It's always better to ask for forgiveness rather than ask for permission so SORRY DAD! Hope you forgive me for this one.

This is my cousin who would love to become a photographer someday. She had fun taking pictures with my mom's Canon Rebel.

I loved being able to hear stories about my grandma. We sat as everyone shared stories. I had to fight tears for part of it because there were some very touching stories of when my grandma was left a widow with seven kids. You can find one of the stories with this link. Wood for the widows. My dad wrote this one and it was published in a magazine for our church.

I wish all the family could have been at the reunion but some weren't able to make it. My grandma sure has a lot of descendants.

Hope you all had a great fourth of July!!!

Wow! Time with family is so precious! I loved all the moments you captured with those pictures. It made me a little homesick for my own family.

How fun! I always forget you are related to Kay and Ella Mae! It's weird we are both related to them but we are not related to eachother! That tire swing was HUGE too!

Leave it to Jeremy - always out to get a laugh - or some other response!
