"I am so thoroughly convinced that if we don't set goals in our life and learn how to master the techniques of living to reach our goals, we can reach a rip old age and look back on our life only to see that we reached but a small part of our full potential. When one learns to master the principles of setting a goal, he will then be able to make a great difference in the results he attains in this life."
-M. Russell Ballard oct. 18, 1981
In the lesson we talked about setting daily goals as well as weekly, monthly, or year goals. Our daily goals should be helping us meet our larger goals. Today I've been coming up with a list of my daily goals. Some of the goals on my 101 things to do list will be accomplished if I can finish my simple chore chart. Goals like doing something fun with my family once a week for a year, and exercising 3x a week for 3 months, keeping my house clean for 6.
I know that when I have a list even if I don't finish it my days are ALWAYS more productive. I found this little chart and even though it was built for a child it makes the tasks not look so daunting. When I wrote out my "chore list" I was trying to come up with goals that would help me balance my life as well.
