Before many of you hear it through the grape vine I figure I should go ahead and tell everyone our news... Last week Jeremy and I sat down and talked about what we were going to do about the future. We decided that ASU wasn't for him and that the only other oppion was to move so he could go to another college! (maybe it was a good thing we didn't get a house here.) We discussed all the other places we thought would work for school and to live comforably and we decided on BYU Idaho. It has never been on our list but for some reason we thought of it that night and it felt like the right thing to do. Jeremy will be applying this month and we are hoping to move betweeen Feburary and March. We are hoping he will get accepted (I'm sure he will since he's kept a 4.0 for the last two years at the community college). Keep your fingers crossed.
I'm excited and nervous at the same time. It will be a big change for us. I have no idea what it's like to live where there is snow and fall leaves! When we talked about only having one car there (to save money) Jeremy said, "it's ok I see you staying inside all winter anyway!" It's sooooo true! I'm going to be sitting in my jammies with my blanket and some hot chocolate. I'll take a peak outside every now and then I'm sure... But it makes me shiver just thinking about the snow! Next Christmas it will feel like what you only see in the movies! (I'm excited about that)
As far as my photography business goes I'll be coming down often to do sessions here and to visit friends and family. I will also travel down for weddings :) No worries I'll still be around!!! I'm not going far!

You're taking my grandbaby away. I'm so sad. I'm sad about you and Jeremy too - of course. Carson is going to be really sad when he doesn't have his best friend around anymore!!
Boo hoo.
*insert big frowny-face here*
ahhhhh- what am I going to do without you? Boohoo!!! :(
Wow, that's big news! I hope everything goes well and that he is able to get into a good program there. What is he going to school for? I think it would be fun to have distinct seasons in the year although I'm a wimp myself when it comes to snow.
Hey, this is Megan Riley, you left a message on my photo shoot blog (meganphotoshoots.blogspot.com). I have been going to BYU-I for about 3 years now and it has been a wonderful opportunity for my husband and me. You will love it, I am sure. The photographic society is a lot of fun and they run competitions often to enhance our creativity as photographers and help us poor college students with prize money. The winters aren't the most fun, but you kind find the beauty in them! Welcome!

You will be closer to us - about 5 hours at the max!! I have a neice this year (her second year)attending BYU Idaho and her brother is looking into attending next fall - we travel up there to see them and will see you if you attend. There is a shuttle bus that goes between BYU Idaho, the SLC Airport and BYU Provo that you can use to travel down to visit family in Utah. We would enjoy having you closer.
YaY! That's much closer to us! Did you ever think of going to a university in WA? Michael, (My honey) is going to Western Washington University in Bellingham WA. Amber and Her new Hubby are at BYUI! I can't wait to take more classes! I want to take some photography and other artsy and useful interesting classes. But I'm waiting till Michael is done with school. Which will be another 2 years-ish.
All I can say is YEAH!!! I am so excited that you will only be a state away from us in Oregon. We will have to visit lots so our little girls will know their cousins. Let me know what I can do to help! LUV you all!!
I am so excited for you guys! Rexburg was on our short list before we moved to Nebraska (which wasn't on our list at all)! It sounds like you had a similar experience. We actually even bought land up there (which now we're getting ready to sell). Hooray for new experiences!
That is where me and my husband went to school! You will love it! True it can be very cold but I don't think that you will able to stay indoors to long. There are a lot of beauitful places to take pictures. Good Luck!
