Rowley Continued! •East Idaho Family Photographer

I finally figured out what to do when I have too many pictures to choose from... story boards! I can't guarantee I'll be posting this many every post. :) This session was perfect other than the 30 min. of rain we experienced in the beginning. The rain blew over though and it was PERFECT! I met this family just a few weeks ago and it turned out that the Dad is my husband's third cousin! It's a small world... Even in Idaho! We have become good friends with them now and I'm so excited that EmmaLee finally has some buddies here. Enjoy loads of pictures as I have been having fun with my storyboards.

Dad pretending to eat a small worm. What a fun Dad!

A little lesson in why it's important to not drink juice before going to bed. It's not good for your teeth. :)

The kiddo's had some cold popsicles while I got some shots of Mom and Dad.

Rowley Family coming soon! •East Idaho Family Photographer

I've been craving this. My first session in Idaho and I enjoyed every minute of it! The rest are on their way!!!

Happy Memorial Day • Rexburg Idaho Family Photographer

I hope that you are all enjoying your memorial day weekend! We have been enjoying ours and have been soaking up a little more of Idaho. We took a little drive yesterday to Mesa Falls. If it weren't Sunday we would have done some hiking hopefully we will be able to go back soon. You had to pay to go see the falls so we didn't do that either (because it was Sunday and getting late) but here are some of the things we did see.
We both thought that this was going to be what all of Idaho was going to look like... One big forest. We were both surprised when all we saw was fields the whole way in. I'm glad the forest is close though.

Stand by this tree and that's all you will hear. There are tons of bees but that's ok because the blossoms are beautiful! :) These pictures are cropped into the bees because there was no way I was going to get that close. :)

FAQ: For Photographers • Eastern Idaho Wedding Photographer

Q: Where are some of your favorite locations in the pheonix area?

A: My top two are the Mesa Arts Center and Granite reef.
The Mesa Arts Center is fave mostly because of the water. I save it for the tail end of the session because we tend to get a little wet.

I love the dots

I love the stairs

Granite reef is fave because of the big trees, green grass, and mountains. At different times of the year your pictures will have a different look. It's not always super green but still beautiful.

I do however enjoy shooting at all kinds of new locations. Sometimes we will drive around for a little bit, I'll see something that I like, and we will stop for some pictures.

Atempting Goal number 18 •Rexburg Idaho Wedding Photographer

:) My brother and my mom wanted to see so here it is scanned. (I wish my scanner was better for this kind of stuff.)

Just Hatched! Baby Birds :) •Rexburg Idaho Wedding Photographer

Aren't they ugly!? So ugly that they are cute!? I've seen this nest before but had no idea that their were baby birds in it!! (I of course was too short to see in...) I had to get a step stool to take pictures.
The nest is on top of where the hose hangs... I'm going to need that hose. I hope these little guys grow fast!

Here they are!

Yawn (I'm feeling the same way little guy!)

It will be fun watching them grow! I'll be posting their progress (as long as a cat doesn't get to them) so keep checking back!

WHAT IS THAT SMELL!??

The last couple days I have been thinking man my house really STINKS! Is it just me?? I've been smelling around everywhere trying to figure it out. and I just couldn't figure it out. I cleaned, took out all the trash, ran the garbage disposal, mopped, checked inside the fridge, checked the dirty laundry.... and then opened the doors to air out the house...
Well today I FINALLY figured it out!
When we first moved in we saw a couple mice in the house, we set some traps caught two and haven't seen any since. Well, my hubby left one up behind the fridge (so Emma wouldn't find it and get snapped) and since we thought all the mice were gone and forgot about the trap....... Bingo! There is the smell. There is a dead mouse behind my fridge ROTTING! (I'm so sorry I didn't post pictures to go along with my story)

As soon as my hubby wakes up from his nap.... The man who SET the trap is going to TAKE CARE of the trap! Yuck Yuck Yuck.

Saturdays are a special day. It's the day that we do all the deep cleaning, and yard work so that Sunday we can relax. Since it's warming up we finished planting our garden. Emma LOVES to put the seeds in the holes. For a while she just sat down and planted the unions... her way. We will see if we find any random onions growing in places they shouldn't be.

I'm in Tears

My brother told me I had to watch this video and I didn't think it would make me cry but I'm in serious tears here. The love that this father has for his son. Incredible! What a great example this team is!

Business cards •Rexburg Idaho Wedding photographer

Too bad I JUST ordered new business cards! I totally could have made them better!;) (it was a good laugh)

Next Years Seniors • Rexburg Idaho Senior Photographer

It's so hard to narrow it down when there are so many pictures to choose from. I took tons of these two beautiful girls. I can't believe that they got up for a 6am session the day of prom. These gals are awesome.
