The Ambo • Mesa Arizona Photographer

Before we left AZ my cousin came by to surprise EmmaLee by coming by in the Ambulance (since our apt. was in their area). It was fun to get our own private tour. Here are some of the pictures.

Emma checking her baby's heartbeat.

Do you think she is going to want to go into the medical field?

I couldn't pass it up • Mesa Arizona Wedding Photographer

Recently I finished editing a wedding I second shot with Maria Nissen Photography and I came by this picture that I just couldn't pass up blogging. Isn't this little girl a doll!

would you be upset?

One things that my mom always taught me growing up is to delight in the little messes that create memories. Sure the kids will play in the mud and get into your makeup but you take a picture and laugh about it. Sure it's work to clean up after their messes but can you remember how much fun it was to make them as a child? I remember always making mud pies on the back porch and swimming in our fish pond. I remember braking jars full of flour or sugar by accident and my mom would always say, "that's ok just make sure you clean it all up." I remember being so grateful that she wouldn't get mad at my accidents. Maybe it's because the faces you learn to pull on Mom's at the right time work. Like this one worked for me.

Emma's first easter egg hunt • Idaho Falls Photographer

After she would find and egg she would put it in her basket, throw her hands up, and say "ball" (she knows they aren't eggs! They are plastic!) She is too cute. :)

I'm glad that she didn't mind sharing her candy. The only thing you will never get her to share with you is fruit snacks.

Matt and Jo's Bridal pictures

I'm a little late getting this post up but this is from last week when I was in AZ. We did these pictures on Thursday night and then their reception was on Saturday so you will be seeing more pictures soon! :)

This one is one of my favorites :)

Our first Garden • Rexburg Idaho Photographer

Ok I have been slacking. We still don't have internet and I've been a little sick the past few days so I hadn't felt up to going into town to post. I thought I would give you all another taste of the farm. here is Jeremy and Emma plowing our garden. Our landlord is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. It was so nice of him to let us use his tractor!

Finney Family

This shoot was a blast. What a sweet and wonderful family they are. I'm about to head off to Vegas with my dad to catch a flight and he's calling me "slow Jo" so I don't have much time to write. Here are some pics :)

Making Grandma a princess with her princess crown. Love it!

This is where my heart is :) • Rexburg Idaho Photographer

I can't tell you how full my heart is living here in Idaho. Although Jeremy and I are both from the city our hearts are in the country. I love this kind of living. I love how peaceful and quiet it is. I can snuggle up to Jeremy on the couch and read a book and that is the life!!!
I love being able to look out my kitchen window and see the cows and birds.

We love watching the pheasants out or living room window.

The house was built in the early nineteen hundreds and I LOVE the old door nob on our back door.

I love that we have a wood stove. It will be nice in the winter when the temperature is down in the negatives.

Yard work was never a chore growing up and I was never really asked to do it but often I would go outside and play in the dirt, trim the trees, mow the lawns (and the neighbors) just for fun. I love being outside and doing yard work. I'm so happy that I have LOTS of yard work to do now. While my Dad was here he and Jeremy cut back some of the fruit trees and we piled up the wood for the winter.
Thanks Deek for giving EmmaLee the wagon! We have been enjoying it too!

I can't wait to see our entry way in the summer.

and I love the cows! Especially the baby ones!!!

More pics of the move

Emma helping pack boxes or should I say unpack boxes. :)

On the way to Idaho we stopped in Saint George so Emma could see her Grandmas. Here she is with Grandma Tiny (that's where she got her middle name).

Emma on the long drive up!

Daddy let her drive through one of the parking lots

We stopped in Utah for a few days because Jeremy had a Mission reunion in Provo. (He served a 2 year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Venezuela)
We thought that the reunion started at 2pm but it was really at 7pm. To kill time we did one of our favorite things... Drive through nice neighborhoods and look at dream homes. Here is one. (It wasn't our favorite but I didn't get pics of the others)

We stayed at Jeremy's cousin's house in Utah and it snowed!! Emma got to play in the snow for the first time.

Our land cruiser had it's first encounter with snow too.

One of the nights in Utah we stayed in a hotel with my parents, cousin, sister-in-law, and niece Isabella. Here's Isabella in the sink. :) It was replacing her high chair.

On the road again on Sunday and I almost missed a picture of the sign!

Emma found a seat while the rest of us unpacked.

Our land cruiser loves it here. :)

My Dad helped us cut trees back. He couldn't resist. He is a country boy.
Emma Loved putting on Grandpa's gloves and beanie.

A picture of all of us before my parents left. (self timer with the camera on the bookshelf)

Saying goodbye!
